Publisher note: Caerphilly CBC anticipate the DPS will evolve as the related change programme progresses and as technology changes. Future Lots under the DPS may include: Curriculum Delivery & Support – Services needed by practitioners to utilise and exploit the ICT equipment in the classroom. Commissioning services - creation of bespoke and innovative resources for schools. The procurement is to be processed in accordance with the Public Contract Regulations 2015 (the Regulations) in line with the Restricted Procedure Regulation 28 and Dynamic Purchasing Systems Regulation 34 and administered via Caerphilly CBC’s e-tendering portal-Proactis Plaza. Please refer to the attached Supplier Guidance Document and specifically Section 10 for the Registration Process. Other bodies within Wales may utilise this DPS via agreement with Caerphilly CBC, please refer to Appendix 2 of the attached Supplier Guidance Document for further information. (WA Ref:165817)

    • Change The modification is required to extend the duration of the existing Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for Technology and Associated Services. Under the transitional provisions of the Procurement Act 2023, DPS arrangements established under the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 may continue to operate until the nationally mandated cut‑off date, after which all legacy DPS must conclude. Government guidance confirms that existing DPS may continue during the transition period but must end no later than 23 February 2029, irrespective of any originally intended end date or extension options. This extension ensures continuity of service and maintains an efficient and compliant route to market while the authority prepares for migration to the new procurement mechanism—Dynamic Markets—introduced by the Act.
