Suicide Prevention Works – Multi-Storey Car Parks
Authority: Guildford Borough Council (Local council)
What is being bought
Published requirement descriptionDear Supplier,
The Council is currently undertaking pre-market engagement in relation to potential suicide prevention works at its multi-storey car parks.
For one car park work is required to install new vehicular edge protection alongside suicide prevention works, and for all car parks the Council has a requirement to consider immediate, temporary suicide prevention remedies.
The purpose of this exercise is to gain a better understanding of the current market, available solutions, delivery models, indicative costs, timescales, technical considerations and potential procurement routes. The information gathered will help inform the Council’s requirements and future procurement strategy.
Please note that this is not a procurement exercise, invitation to tender or request for a quotation. Responses will not be evaluated, scored or used to select suppliers, and participation in this exercise will not provide any advantage or disadvantage in relation to any future procurement opportunity.
The Council is not committed to proceeding with a procurement exercise as a result of this market engagement and reserves the right to amend, defer or not proceed with any future requirement.
Any information provided should therefore be considered as market intelligence only. Suppliers should not incur any costs in responding, and the Council will not be responsible for any costs associated with participation in this exercise.
