- Extending the Initial Term 3.1 The Authority may extend this agreement beyond the Initial Term by three additional periods of one year (each an "Extension Period"). If the Authority wishes to extend this agreement, it shall give the Supplier at least three months' written notice of such intention before the expiry of the Initial Term or relevant Extension Period. 3.2 If the Authority gives such notice then the Term shall be extended by the period set out in the notice. 3.3 If the Authority does not wish to extend this agreement beyond the Initial Term this agreement shall expire on the expiry of the Initial Term and the provisions of Clauses 28.5 and 28.6 shall apply.
