Published requirement description

Contract to design, supply & deliver on all aspects of a complete refurbishment of the HPC owned play area for ages 2 to 14 years.

Guideline budget - £150,000.

Hagley Parish Council has an exciting opportunity to refurbish an existing NEAP at Hagley Recreation Ground in North Worcestershire. The council is seeking to appoint a suitable contractor to deliver a high-quality refurbishment scheme within the guideline budget for a NEAP classified play area.

A survey has been conducted to establish local demand and need and the headlines of the survey are set out in HPC's Invitation to Tender document. All equipment and safety surfacing must be fully compliant with the requirements of BS EN 1176 and BS EN 1177 and accessibility and inclusivity will be a key design feature.

Interest should be registered through Hagley Parish Council offices by emailing the Deputy Clerk by email at [email protected]

Playground equipment (CPV 3753) in North East England, and who usually turns up

Hagley Parish Council has too little published record in this market to describe on its own. Published market evidence for the same work stands beside whatever it has. Frameworks and DPS are kept out: they attract a different number of bids. Whole-market view: Playground equipment (CPV 3753) →

About this data
  • Source. Official UK public procurement notices (Find a Tender), reused under the Open Government Licence v3.0. New notices arrive through the day; the figures are rebuilt nightly.
  • Two views, kept apart. The authority’s own track record and the wider market for the same kind of work sit side by side and are never mixed. Where the local picture is too thin, a figure widens to a broader market and says which one it used.
  • Forecasts are labelled. The price forecast and its range, possible competitors and the match score are our estimates from past awards: not published facts, not win chances and not price advice. Official notices do not say who is bidding.
  • Every figure shows what it rests on. Not every notice publishes a bid count, a value or a delivery region, so each figure carries the number of records behind it, and one built on few records is marked as such. The on a figure explains it; the counting rules are in the methodology. Spotted something wrong? Tell us.
