- The framework provided a compliant and efficient route to market, reducing the time and administrative burden associated with running a standalone procurement. The further competition enabled Lighthouse Education Trust to assess framework suppliers against its specific requirements and evaluate both quality and price. The use of pre-qualified suppliers and established framework terms also provided additional assurance and supported a clear and transparent procurement process.
Publisher note: The contract was awarded following a further competition under ESPO Framework 263_25 - Total Cleaning Service Solutions. Tender submissions were evaluated against the published price and quality criteria and the contract was awarded to the supplier achieving the highest overall evaluated score. The initial contract period is three years from 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2029, with two optional 12-month extensions available at the Customer's discretion.
