Coverage: 92 active published awards; 9 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Published-to-award variance compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

What is being bought
BSIP funding will be utilised for the supply and installation of static surveillance cameras. The cameras will be installed on additional red routes along key bus corridors in order to alleviate the problem of indiscriminate parking.
Integration into existing software requires compatibility with third party hosted software (TES Review) which is linked directly to the cameras.

Procedure rationaleIntegration into existing software requires compatibility with third party hosted software (TES Review) which is linked directly to the cameras.
Evidence packages encrypted within the cameras is then uploaded to hosted software (TES Review) and then uploaded to Taranto software for penalty processing.
TES Review is only compatible with TES cameras for direct uploads, therefore without system compatibility decryption and encryption software would have to be installed on SOTCC servers so that encrypted evidence packages can be sent for third party review.
If SOTCC were to purchase the suppliers own review software, the team would need to operate 2 or more software packages, driving up costs and inefficiencies into delivery of the service.
Taranto have confirmed they do not currently carry compatibility with any other camera provider.
As hosted solutions are the preferred choice of SOTCC, we would look to avoid any option that would require the use of our internal servers |
