Coverage: 54 active published awards; 52 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Price reduction compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

What is being bought
In 2021 PfH procured it's first Social Housing Emerging Disrupters (SHED) Framework Agreement. This framework aims to promote innovation by putting in place a national arrangement comprising organisations providing innovative goods and services to the housing market and the wider public sector. Due to the emerging and evolving nature of innovation, a further SHED Framework Agreement (SHED 2) will be procured in 2022.

In June 2021 the Government issued a new National Procurement Strategy setting out several strategic priorities for public procurement. One of those priorities is ‘social value’ which includes a number of initiatives, including increasing innovation and the use of disruptive technologies and business models throughout the supply chain, to deliver lower cost and/or higher quality goods and services, and encourage the wider adoption of innovation. PfH created the first SHED Framework in December 2021 to enable its members to procure innovative products and services. 18 suppliers were appointed to this initial framework. We intend to procure a second SHED Framework in 2022 to reflect the evolving and emerging nature of innovation. For further information please contact Jane Brighouse (JBrighouse@pfh.co.uk).
