Payment obligations depend on the applicable regime and contract. Consult the official documents.
Coverage: 152 active published awards; 31 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Published-to-award variance compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

Planning and rationale

Procedure rationaleThe University are intending to appoint Bruker UK to relocate four NMR Spectrometers from the existing Chemistry building to a new Molecular Sciences building. The NMR Spectrometers will need to be de-energised, warmed and de-assembled before being protected and transported. They will then need to be placed in position, re-assembled, cooled, re-energised and recommissioned. The four spectrometers are all Bruker instruments: • 1x 300MHz • 2x 400MHz • 1x 500MHz One Bruker 300MHz spectrometer is also to be decommissioned and taken out of use. Sequencing of these moves is important in order to keep the service operating. As the original equipment manufacturer Bruker also are the provider for maintenance and servicing. Only Bruker will guarantee the spectrometers will perform to specifications following the moves.
