What is being bought
Published requirement descriptionFerndown Town Council, as Sole Trustee to King George's Field Charity (the Charity) invites suitably qualified and experienced contractors to submit a tender for the provision of grounds maintenance and sports pitch preparation and maintenance services.
The objective of this procurement is to appoint a contractor capable of delivering high-quality, safe, and sustainable grounds maintenance across our estate whilst preparing and maintaining sports pitches to an appropriate standard for their intended use.
Recognising that maintenance methodologies vary between contractors, interested parties are invited to develop and submit their own recommended maintenance specification based upon their professional expertise, industry best practice, and site inspection.
- Not divided into lots: As a small town council and Charity, there is reduced capacity to manage multi-contractors.
- How the procedure runs: Contractors are asked to provide a recommended scope of works with associated prices based on our facilities. In discussion with short-listed contractors, Trustees may ask for adjustments.
