What is being bought
The Greater London Authority (GLA) intends to award a contract for the provision of Cleaning and Support Services across the GLA estate. The proposed award is being made in accordance with Section 41 of the Procurement Act 2023 and Schedule 5, Paragraph 7, on the basis that: a) A change of supplier would result in services being different from, or incompatible with, the existing services; and b) Such difference or incompatibility would lead to disproportionate difficulties in operation or maintenance. Contract Term The proposed contract will comprise: An initial term of two (2) years; and An option to extend for a further one (1) year. Contract Value £2,479,514 (excluding VAT) £2,975,417 (including VAT) The proposed contract term will provide sufficient time for the GLA to undertake a comprehensive review of its future service requirements, complete an options appraisal and determine the most appropriate long-term service delivery model.
