Coverage: 0 active published awards; 0 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Published-to-award variance compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

    Published value£60,000
Design, supply and installation of a new children's playground at Simpson Manor Memorial Ground. The works include the provision of appropriate safety surfacing in accordance with relevant standards and the design and installation of a layout that facilitates maintenance access between the equipment. The playground must provide accessible and inclusive play opportunities for children aged 0-15 years and include hardwood construction with galvanised or equivalent metal shoes, equipment suitable for a range of ages and abilities, and a themed communication panel. The design should be visually sensitive to the surrounding memorial setting, using natural tones, sympathetic design approaches and equipment that complements the peaceful character of the site. The Council requires a subtle military or "Army-style" theme within at least one significant feature of equipment and welcomes consideration of a horse-themed roundabout or similar equipment as a reference to the historic Turners Merry-go-round. Designs must remain tasteful, inclusive and appropriate to the location, while providing high play value. The estimated value of Lot 2 is £60,000 excluding VAT.
