What is being bought

Published requirement description

The provision of a total facilities management service for National Highways buildings across all regions in England. The service is expected to commence in late 2026 and last for up to 7 years. The initial contract will support an estimated 42 buildings but include provision to support additional buildings as National Highways rationalises separate facilities management arrangements into a single service. The number of buildings to be added to the contract is to be determined but is currently estimated at 118, to make an estimated total by the end of the contract of around 160.

    Following an earlier engagement event held in January 2025 (originally announced in https://www.find-tender.service.gov.uk/Notice/038670-2024, published 29 November 2024) National Highways would like to update the market on its current plans to replace its existing Total Facilities Management more…contract. National Highways will be holding an online engagement event on 8 July 2025. Suppliers who are interested in the event may register their interest at https://forms.office.com/e/vJJhbv9cv6. To manage system bandwidth, suppliers are asked to limit attendance to two people each. Suppliers may request to receive presentation materials rather than attend the event. Suppliers registered to attend or receive materials from the event may be asked to provide additional information after the event, which could be used to shape the final procurement exercise.
