- Price carries 10 of 100 points: a 10% discount moves about 1 point. The method statement decides this lot, not the discount.
- Turnover usually expected at this size: about £333,758 (twice the annual value).
Price arithmetic assumes straight proportional scoring; the tender pack may use another formula. Turnover is an indicative market norm (≈2× annual value), not a published condition.

How the contest usually goes
Winner shares use published awards; bid and price charts use contested lots.
i
How often small and medium firms win.
Share of awards where the winner’s size is known.
The counts under this question show how many awards have a known supplier size.
Small firms have won here. Neither number says whether you qualify; it describes who has been winning.
i
How often local firms win similar work.
Winners with a registered address in the delivery region, out of awards with a known address.
Local means the winner is registered in the region where that award was delivered. The market figure counts awards delivered in Wales (Cymru).
A local branch does not count if the registered address is elsewhere.
Most of this buyer’s recorded winners were registered in the region where that award was delivered.
i
How long buyers here take to decide after bids close.
Middle value in days from the bid deadline to the award date, on competitions that published both.
Only decided tenders count, so slow ones still waiting are not in.
Half of these awards have an award date within 51 days of the bid deadline.
i
How often work is awarded with no recorded rival.
Direct awards and tenders where every published lot count shows one bid.
Both shares are minimums: some awards have no bid count.
Thin markets produce this too; it is not proof of a tailored specification.
Direct awards or one recorded bid are common here. Check the route before spending time on a bid.
How many bids did past lots attract?

About this data
- Source. Official UK public procurement notices (Find a Tender), reused under the Open Government Licence v3.0. New notices arrive through the day; the figures are rebuilt nightly.
- Two views, kept apart. The authority’s own track record and the wider market for the same kind of work sit side by side and are never mixed. Where the local picture is too thin, a figure widens to a broader market and says which one it used.
- Forecasts are labelled. The price forecast and its range, possible competitors and the earlier-work matches are our estimates from past awards: not published facts, not win chances and not price advice. Official notices do not say who is bidding.
- Every figure shows what it rests on. Not every notice publishes a bid count, a value or a delivery region, so each figure carries the number of records behind it, and one built on few records is marked as such. The on a figure explains it; the counting rules are in the methodology. Spotted something wrong? Tell us.

Cyfanswm gwerth y tendr yw £180,000 (gan gynnwys TAW).
Mae Adnodd yn bwriadu dyfarnu dau gontract gwerth hyd at £90,000 (gan gynnwys TAW) yr un ar gyfer creu, cynhyrchu a chyhoeddi adnoddau.
Gall ymgeiswyr weithio mewn partneriaeth ag unigolion, cwmnïau neu sefydliadau arbenigol i gryfhau eu ceisiadau. Fodd bynnag, rhaid enwi un sefydliad arweiniol a fydd yn gyfrifol am y cais ac am gyflawni'r contract yn llwyddiannus.
Bydd Adnodd yn ariannu adnoddau newydd sydd:
- yn ddwyieithog (fersiynau Cymraeg a Saesneg)
- am ddim i'w cyrchu a'u defnyddio
- wedi'u datblygu gan unigolion sydd â phrofiad addas, ac sydd â dealltwriaeth glir o hiliaeth, gwrth-hiliaeth ac ymarfer addysgol effeithiol
- yn cyd-fynd â’r Cwricwlwm i Gymru
- wedi eu datblygu ac ar gael i’w defnyddio erbyn 30 Medi 2027
Rhaid i'r adnoddau fod mewn fformat digidol yn bennaf; ond gellir hefyd gynnwys deunyddiau print fel rhan o gais lle mae rhesymeg glir dros wneud hynny, wedi'i hategu gan dystiolaeth gadarn o angen.
Bydd Adnodd yn cynnal dwy weminar ymgysylltu cyn y farchnad ar-lein i rannu rhagor o wybodaeth am y cyfle hwn. Bydd yr un sesiwn yn cael ei chyflwyno ddwywaith, a dylai cyflenwyr fynychu un sesiwn yn unig.

Adnodd published a notice on its website advertising the opportunity. The information can be found via the following link: adnodd.gov.wales/open-market-opportun… ↗
The total value of this tender is £180,000 (inc. VAT).
Adnodd intends to award two contracts of up to £90,000 (inc. VAT) each for the creation, production and publication of resources.
Bidders may form partnerships with specialist individuals, companies or organisations to strengthen their proposals. However, a single lead organisation must take overall responsibility for the bid and the successful delivery of the contract.
Adnodd will be looking to fund new resources that are:
- bilingual (Welsh and English versions)
- free to access and use
- developed by suitably experienced individuals, with a clear understanding of racism, antiracism, education and pedagogy
- aligned with the Curriculum for Wales
- developed and available by 30 September 2027
Resources must primarily be in digital format. However, printed materials may also be included in proposals provided there is a clear rationale, supported by compelling evidence of need.
Adnodd will be holding two online pre-market engagement webinars to share further information about this opportunity. The same session will be delivered twice, and suppliers should only attend one session.
