Coverage: 65 active published awards; 64 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Price reduction compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

Procedure rationaleThis Procurement has been awarded with no prior call for competition as the current structure of our requirement means that only MRS Training and Rescue can provide all of the services we require in order to maintain our legislated obligations to public safety.
It is intended that during the next 18 months a strategic review of our requirements will take place. The aim of this review will be to determine the best way to structure our requirements so as to increase the opportunity available to the open market while satisfying our legal obligations. |
