This Notice is to advertise Islington Borough Council’s desire to improve our experience in relation to Asbestos Survey and Air Testing services. We are keen to ensure that we design a specification and operating process that works most efficiently for everyone that comes into contact with asbestos services in and around the Council’s estate of properties.
For the avoidance of doubt, this process is for the purpose of conducting a pre-market engagement exercise and does not formally begin a procurement process or constitute any commitment by Islington Borough Council to subsequently undertake a procurement process.

This questionnaire seeks supplier feedback to support the council’s planning for the upcoming procurement. This pre-market engagement exercise aims to: • Inform the development of the procurement strategy and specification. • Gauge market interest and capacity. • Understand supplier capabilities and innovations. • Identify any barriers to participation, especially for SMEs and local providers.
