YPO have appointed suppliers onto a Framework Agreement following a Competitive Tendering Procedure for the supply of Dry Wipe Boards and Whiteboard Markers for use primarily in the education market and local authority sectors. This

Framework is designed to meet the needs of YPO by establishing an agreement for Suppliers to deliver stock into YPO's distribution centre in Wakefield, West Yorkshire.

Published description of the framework

A completed pricing appendix for a basket of goods was required as part of a suppliers submission and was evaluated using the CIPFA % difference model.

This pricing is to be held for an initial period from 1st May 2026 (the commencement dates of this contract). The exact time of this initial period varies by supplier depending on their submission.

Any amendments to price must be agreed with YPO in writing at least 45 days before any proposed increase.

The customer will select the supplier to purchase from by selecting the product from the catalogue that meets their own specification.

Pricing will be determined by annual pricing reviews during Q3/Q4 to ensure the correct price is implemented within our catalogue / website (catalogue runs from April - March).

After the fixed pricing period, any price amendments must be agreed in writing with YPO at least 90 days before any proposed changes, and must be backed up with evidence to support any price variations. YPO reserve the right to amend these dates and timings after award.

    YPO are looking to start pre market engagement for the provision of Whiteboards and Whiteboard Marker/Pen ranges to be stocked in the YPO warehouse in Wakefield (WF2 0XE) for delivery to our customer base. All items will be stocked in YPOs warehouse and there will be no direct delivery to customer items.

    YPO intends to close the preliminary market engagement by the 06/06/2025.

    YPO are looking for testing methods to ensure we achieve best value and quality in the market. How do you as manufacturer test these products to ensure consistence in high quality?

    YPO are looking to find the standard product ranges available in the market to allow us to build the product specifications for each proposed lot. Eg pack sizes /environmental claims (this may include customer feedback you have to support).

    YPO require detail of ranges that can be offered by providers for specific markets Eg whiteboard markers/pens and drywipe boards across YPO Branded and non-YPO Branded. (YPO require providers that can offer full ranges of product to meet the needs of the customer base from Early Years through to Secondary and higher education and non-education)

    YPO are looking for your social value / sustainability offering to support your product ranges.

    YPO reserves the right to not commit to advertising this tender if we do so wish. Should YPO wish to proceed further a formal procurement process will be followed in accordance with YPO's contract procedure rules and in line with the Procurement Act 2023 as relevant.
