    "description": "Thames Water is the UK's largest water and wastewater service company. Every day we supply around 2,600 million litres of tap water to 9 million customers across London and the Thames Valley. We also remove and treat more than 4 billion litres of sewage for 16 million customers. In everything we do, we follow Thames Water's purpose and values.\nOur operations generate significant volumes of waste, particularly material and grit removed from customer and council wastewater. This represents the largest waste stream across our sites, and recycling is prioritised wherever possible over landfill.\nAt Beckton Sewage Treatment Works in Barking, London-one of our largest sites-we operate an incinerator to process biowaste.
