Soft Market Test – Active Fire Safety

Plus Dane are seeking input from the market as to what would be the most beneficial way to package and scope a potential future procurement exercise(s). This exercise will provide an opportunity for Plus Dane to obtain insight into how potential providers might approach the delivery of the service/works in question. We are also seeking insight into the likely level of interest from the market. Plus Dane has developed the attached questionnaire for interested parties to complete. Interested parties may then be invited to meet with the project team to discuss the options in more detail. Potential bidders will not be prejudiced by any response or non-response to this questionnaire. Potential bidders must also note that a response to this notice does not guarantee an invitation to participate in this or any future procurement that Plus Dane may conduct, nor that Plus Dane will procure any such works or accepts any proposals offered. Any procurement of the works/services by Plus Dane will be carried out strictly in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. Confidentiality Each Party shall: •treat the other Party's confidential Information as confidential and safeguard it accordingly; and •not disclose the other Party's Confidential Information to any other person without the owner's prior written consent. Our Requirements Inspection, testing, servicing, repairs and replacements of active fire protection equipment to homes and common areas as well as Plus Dane’s commercial premises and offices. The types of works to be undertaken will generally include the following, although this is not an exhaustive list: •Fire alarm systems •Emergency lighting systems •Firefighting equipment (FFE) •Dry and wet risers •Sprinkler systems •Auto air vents (AOVs) •Warden call systems •Provision of fire signage
