Comparable-procurement analytics

Benchmarked against retained Find a Tender procedures with CPV division 71. The category anchor is Calculation of costs, monitoring of costs (71244000); this is a deliberately broad market comparator. The comparison is shown at several levels rather than pretending one company or region is always the best benchmark.

“Reported bids” is an official aggregate, sometimes reported per lot; it is the closest available competition measure. “Named award suppliers” are winners, not all applicants.

Price-outcome signal

Not enough comparable procedures currently publish both a GBP tender value and a usable lowest-valid-bid value to calculate a responsible price-reduction benchmark. Tenderline deliberately does not infer a saving from named award suppliers or from missing award values.

"description": "Supply of Principal Designer (CDM) services to support the range of exhibition and refurbishment projects across Royal Museums Greenwich sites outlined elsewhere in this Prior Information Notice. Consultants will need to work within the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015, and will be required to plan, manage, monitor and coordinate health and safety in the pre-construction phase, working closely with project designer(s) to eliminate, reduce or control risks. Consultants will also need to help and advise RMG in bringing together pre-construction information and provide the information that designers and contractors need, and also to liaise with the principal contractor during the construction phase. Additional information: The value of the contracts to be awarded to successful suppliers as part of this Lot is not known at this stage, due to the range of potential projects that may be undertaken over the period of the Framework, and the varied project budgets."
