Published requirement descriptionThe Supplier Development Programme will hold the 7th Annual Meet the Buyer North as an in-person, face to face event on Wednesday 11th September focusing on one-to-one in-person networking. Meet the Buyer North 2024 will allow your business or social enterprise to connect with 'real' buyers from across the public sector as well as private contractors with supply chain opportunities and business support providers, all under one roof.
Business will be able to meet procurement teams from local councils, alongside other public and private sector buying organisations, private contractors and business support organisations that are all based in the North of Scotland.

Meet the Buyer events can help suppliers understand what the buyers are looking for, introduce them to innovative goods, works and services, and can give suppliers insight on how bids are and will be evaluated from a procurement perspective. Meet the Buyer events also offer the opportunity to engage with business support initiatives, such as the Supplier Development Programme, local authority economic development representatives and Business Gateway representatives.
