GMCA Legal Services for Good Growth Fund and Regeneration Projects Framework

GMCA, acting as a central purchasing body on behalf of GMCA Group organisations and participating Greater Manchester public sector authorities, intends to establish a multi-supplier legal services framework for the provision of specialist legal advice and support in relation to regeneration, infrastructure, place-making, housing, transport, economic development and associated major projects.

The framework is expected to provide access to a range of legal disciplines including, but not limited to, commercial, property, planning, construction, development, procurement, subsidy control, governance, compulsory purchase, highways and related dispute resolution matters.

The framework is intended to support both high-value strategic regeneration programmes and associated legal workstreams across participating authorities.

The Contracting Authority is a national leader for the devolution agenda and key to this is delivery of the GM growth ambition in an effective and efficient manner. It is therefore looking for partner firms who identify with leading national ambition and want to be part of this innovative commission.

The Contracting Authority anticipates appointing multiple legal service providers to work together with the collective ambition of delivering growth in Greater Manchester and expects the framework to promote collaboration, knowledge sharing, innovation, social value and strengthen public sector in-house legal teams across Greater Manchester.
