| 1 | Construction work for school buildings, Construction work for buildings relating to health and social services, for crematoriums and public conveniences, Heating works, Roof works and other special trade construction works, Installation of doors and windows and related components, Floor and wall covering work, Building installation work | Not published |
Benchmarked against retained Find a Tender procedures with CPV division 45. The category anchor is Construction work for school buildings (45214200); this is a deliberately broad market comparator. The comparison is shown at several levels rather than pretending one company or region is always the best benchmark.
| Comparison set | Procedures | Reported bids per procedure | Named award suppliers | Price evidence |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Market: CPV division 45 | 9,462 | 4 median · 24.3 average (2,223 of 9,462 with a bid count) | 3.7 average (2,447 of 9,462 with named award suppliers) | Not published |
| Same buyer | 3 | Not published | Not published | Not published |
| Delivery region: UKL17 | 49 | 5.5 median · 25.4 average (10 of 49 with a bid count) | 13.3 average (11 of 49 with named award suppliers) | Not published |
| Similar published value (0.5×–2×) | 722 | 6.5 median · 29.5 average (4 of 722 with a bid count) | 6.8 average (4 of 722 with named award suppliers) | Not published |
“Reported bids” is an official aggregate, sometimes reported per lot; it is the closest available competition measure. “Named award suppliers” are winners, not all applicants.
Not enough comparable procedures currently publish both a GBP tender value and a usable lowest-valid-bid value to calculate a responsible price-reduction benchmark. Tenderline deliberately does not infer a saving from named award suppliers or from missing award values.
