This will initially be in the Boroughs of Gosport , Hart and Rushmoor with scope for further areas to be encompassed into this contract. The remaining eight Borough/District Councils in Hampshire can fall in scope for this contract, however there is no guarantee that they will do so . The numbers and locations of the shelters can change throughout the term of the contract and there is no guarantee of additional shelters being included in this tender. The shelters will be owned and maintained under the responsibility of the successful concessionaire. The Contract will commence on 18th July 2024 and will be for a period of ten years with the option to extend for a further five years. Concessionaires will pay an annual fee to the council and/or a percentage of revenue, whichever is higher.
