  "description": "Westminster City Council are looking to develop a ‘pool’ of individual, experienced Occupational Therapists, who are or are able to set up as suppliers to deliver their complex occupational therapy service.   \nIf you are an  HCPC-registered Occupational Therapists  with five-year post qualification experience, we would like to invite you to a 1-hour online information session to learn more about our Complex OT Associate model and how you can get involved.  \nThis is a great opportunity for self-employed OT seniors and experienced OTs operating outside IR35 who are interested in: \n- Delivering major adaptations \n- Undertaking complex, community-based OT assessments \n- Working on high-impact cases that support residents to live safely and independently at home \nWhat makes this opportunity different: \n-Paid a competitive case rate per completed assessment, with potential to increase earnings based on volume of work undertaken \n-Associates are paid on a case-rate basis for completed work, offering flexibility and professional autonomy.  \n-Offers high flexibility, making it ideal for locum OTs, established self-employed practitioners, or those wanting to take on additional work alongside an existing role \n-You will work as part of an embedded Council team, closely aligned with the -Community Independence Service (CIS), Housing / Home Improvement Agency, Adult Social Care teams, and hospital discharge pathways \n-You will undertake meaningful, complex OT work, including major adaptations and specialist assessments \n-Work is managed through the Council’s case management system (Mosaic) \n1-hour information session – what we’ll cover: \n- Overview of the Complex OT Associate model \n- Types of work involved, including major adaptations and complex cases \n- How the associate framework will operate in practice \n- How to express interest and next steps in the set up (procurement) process \n- Open Q&A \n\n        \nWhen: 17 June 2026 at 1:00PM.  \nWhere: MS Teams (online) \nRegister your interest: by emailing: \nkmarsh1@westminster.gov.uk OR ewoof@westminster.gov.uk\nPlease use the subject heading 'Complex OT - Engagement and Information Session' and a Teams invite will be emailed to enable you to join the scheduled event online.\nThis session is ideal for experienced Occupational Therapists who enjoy working autonomously, value high-quality complex practice, and want to be part of an integrated public-sector service making a real difference to residents’ lives.",
