Responses to this RFI will be reviewed by stakeholders from different functional areas within Defence Recycling and Disposal Team (DRDT). The Authority welcomes responses from suppliers of all sizes, including SMEs, regional suppliers, specialist processors, subcontractors, consortium members and other niche capability providers. Suppliers are not obliged to answer every question, only those to which they feel comfortable answering and are relevant to their capability, experience or market insight. This exercise will have no bearing on the outcome of any future tender, and no contractor will be penalised in any way for unanswered questions. All responses will be reviewed, and some may be considered for inclusion as part of the tender documentation e.g. Statement of Requirement, pricing structure, sustainability or circular economy. The Authority will also be looking at the structure of the tender e.g. whether to leave as a single entity or break into lots and if so, how should the lots be structured. If upon review of your submission any clarifications or additional information is required, you will be contacted using the details provided in your RFI response. Depending on the responses to the RFI, the Authority will follow this with further engagement in the form of an open forum event through the Teams medium and one-to-one discussions, depending on contractor appetite for this kind of communication. Any additional activities will be advertised with a follow-on notice that will be open to all parties interested in further exploration of this requirement. All contractors that have submitted responses to this RFI will be sent invitations to these events together with joining instructions. Suppliers should clearly identify any commercially sensitive information in their responses Nothing in this RFI, or any follow-on events should be considered as a commitment by the Authority in relation to any future requirement(s) or any future procurement(s). 1. How to submit responses to this RFI Respondents should provide responses in accordance with the format provided in Annex A quoting the RFI reference 715916481 on all documentation and emails. Additional feedback is encouraged, however please keep this to a maximum of 8 A4 Pages in Arial 11 font. Any responses received after the deadline will be passed to the relevant stakeholders for information; however, they may not be included in the RFI review meetings which are to be held immediately following the deadline. Late submissions will not preclude the bidder from taking part in any ensuing elements of this project. Once completed, please return it electronically to the e-mail address shown below in section 8, no later than 16:00hrs 02/10/2026. 2. Confidentiality & Proprietary Information No information included in your response, or in discussions connected to it, will be disclosed to any other third party. Proprietary information, where included, should be kept to a minimum and must be clearly marked. For this RFI, any documentation submitted should be of the classification OFFICIAL. 3.
