Transport for London (TfL) seeks a suitably qualified and experienced supplier to provide a safe, reliable, and compliant marine fuel delivery service for the Woolwich Ferry. The service comprises the supply and delivery of fuel by barge and road tanker to the Woolwich Ferry vessels at the North and South Woolwich terminals, ensuring continuity of ferry operations and business resilience. The Supplier shall carry out all fuel deliveries in accordance with applicable legislation, industry standards, Port of London Authority (PLA) and Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) requirements, and TfL policies and procedures, including environmental protection and pollution prevention obligations. The service includes the timely delivery of fuel, completion of all required documentation and reporting, and the implementation of appropriate safety, health, and environmental controls to protect personnel, assets, and the surrounding environment. The Woolwich Ferry operates daily and provides a vital cross-river transport service. The Supplier will be required to maintain a dependable fuel supply arrangement that supports the operational requirements of the ferry service throughout the contract term and any potential extension periods.
