How this buyer will score bids.

The evaluation criteria and weights exactly as published on the notice, grouped by family (price, quality, social value and so on).

Evaluation split and conditions of participation as published; the tender pack may add more
How bids were scored

Lots publish different evaluation splits; there is no single procedure weighting.

Lot distribution rule: All three lots can be bid for but a maximum of two lots can be won of the following combinations – Lot 1 Monitoring and Lot 3 Legionella Risk Assessments or Lot 1 Monitoring and Lot 2 Remedial Works. This is due to the Legionella risk assessments identifying the remedial works which are required to be undertaken and would therefore be a conflict of interest. If a supplier wins more than the lot combinations detailed out above these will be awarded based on the best value to the Council between first and second place bidders.
What this means for your bid
  • Price carries 50 points on every lot: a 10% discount moves about 5 points.

Price arithmetic assumes straight proportional scoring; the tender pack may use another formula.
