Payment obligations depend on the applicable regime and contract. Consult the official documents.
Coverage: 66 active published awards; 54 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Published-to-award variance compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

What is being bought
With co-funding from the European Regional Development Fund and BEIS, the University of Sheffield is establishing a national Translational Energy Research Centre (TERC) as an integrated multi-technology, pilotscale R&D platform for low-carbon technologies including hydrogen, bioenergy (BE), and Carbon Capture, Utilisation and Storage (CCUS). Site equipment includes a Molten Carbonate Fuel Cell (MCFC) which forms part of a Bioenergy with Carbon Capture and Storage/Utilisation (BECCS) system. This tender covers the scrubbing and conditioning of biomass boiler flue gas (as well as synthetic/semi-synthetic flue gas) to meet stringent purity requirements of the MCFC. It also covers fuel feed to the Anode side of the MCFC. S-containing impurities as well as compounds containing halogens (e.g., HCl), As, Se and P must be scrubbed to low ppb levels to prevent poisoning of the plant catalyst.
