Coverage: 36 active published awards; 34 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Published-to-award variance compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

What is being bought
The purpose of this exercise is to procure the required software, specialist infrastructure, and implementation and support service for a ‘baby tagging’ system. A baby tagging system would allow babies residing in the new Baird hospital to be ‘tagged’ and movements tracked to ensure the whereabouts of babies are known whilst under the responsibility of the hospital. Baby tagging systems are an expectation of all new hospitals providing inpatient care for babies as an anti-abduction tool NHS Grampian requires the supply, maintenance, and support of this system. Maintenance and support will be required for up to 10years.
