Coverage: 107 active published awards; 92 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Price reduction compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

What is being bought
The Welsh Government will award a 19-month research contract for the development and cognitive testing of a set of demographic survey questions and guidance that are consistent with the Social Model of Disability. The aim of the contract is to develop a suite of research questions and response options that reflect the Social Model of Disability and enable a standardised, consistent approach. Concurrently, guidance must be developed which outlines the type of question to use and when. For example, what questions could or should be asked, for what purpose, and in which survey? Research into questions for children and young people as well as adults, would be beneficial and relevant to the Student Health and Well Being surveys, for example, which Welsh Government fund every two years. Research into other models of disability would also need to be undertaken to assess whether there is a need to create a question set based on the Biopsychosocial Model of Disability, for example, in addition to a suite of questions based on the Social Model of Disability.
