Coverage: 192 active published awards; 128 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Price reduction compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

What is being bought
Scotland's Railway will soon be commencing procurement of a Lineside Framework for Tree and Vegetation Management (Clearance & Maintenance) and boundary renewals. The Framework will be split into two distinct categories and this event is focused on category 2 which is an exciting opportunity, particularly for Small to Medium Enterprises (SMEs) as the intention is to split this category into 4 boundaries (3 suppliers in each) to support our delivery units across Scotland. This will provide a great opportunity for up to 12 suppliers to get on to the Framework. Ahead of procurement beginning later this year, Network Rail will be holding a Supplier Engagement Event where SMEs and other interested suppliers can find out more about this opportunity, including; The importance of SME involvement in Lineside Vegetation What is required to work Lineside in the Railway industry Overview of the Procurement process - an SME friendly approach What to expect Post Contract if successful Opportunity for questions and to feedback on the proposed strategies. Network Rail intends to hold this in-person at the following time and location: Thursday 24th October 2024 at 3:30pm - 5pm. The Studio, 67 Hope Street, Glasgow, G2 6AE Interested parties are invited to confirm attendance via the BRAVO platform (https://networkrail.bravosolution.co.uk) by 12noon on Tuesday 22nd October 2024. Should you experience any issues with Bravo, please contact Lyle.Musuraca@networkrail.co.uk. Please note that spaces are limited to one representative from each business. Invite links will then be sent - to everyone that has registered via BRAVO – by close of business on Tuesday 22nd October, ahead of the call on the Thursday.
