Coverage: 127 active published awards; 41 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Published-to-award variance compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

What is being bought
This Contract is for the purchase of Electrofusion Boxes and associated spares, along with the servicing/calibration and repair of the equipment. Caldervale Electrofusion Boxes are already in use across the Network and are critically important pieces of equipment that assist Northern Gas operations on the Network. Used in daily operations to allow the operatives to connect PE pipes and fittings together using a heated fusion process. Northern Gas are unable to tender this equipment due to the Caldervale preloaded/inbuilt software which manages Northern Gases joint management/compliance system for electrofusion joints through Calder Safe technology. New Electrofusion Boxes may be purchased over the lifetime of the contract for replacement of equipment beyond economical repair or if there are future demands for new equipment on the Network.
