What is being bought
Published requirement descriptionThe small Uncrewed Air Systems (sUAS) Training Project will deliver sUAS training starting from 1 Nov 26. This will include individual training, assurance activities, collective training guidance, and conceptual development. The intended outcome is a unified and coherent sUAS training solution. This aligns with Commander Field Army direction to invest and train 240 sUAS System Commanders and 240 FPV Strike Commanders every year to grow sUAS capability across the force units rapidly.
- How the procedure runs: The competitive flexible procedure for this procurement will be run through Crown Commercial Services Dynamic Market (RM6370; Space Technology Solutions). Any potential suppliers are encouraged to start the registration process for that Dynamic Market now so that it is complete when the tender process starts. The ITT reference number is itt_95673. The procedure itself is expected to include the issue of an Invitation to Tender (ITT), a clarification period where questions from potential suppliers will be received and addressed followed by a submission window for the ITT. Number of stages:2 Stages to be included: Conditions of Participation Invitation to Tender Stage 1 Invitation to participate - Conditions of Participation - Compliance Checks - Applying Exclusion Grounds - Asseessing Conditions of Participation. Stage 1 Invitation to Participate (ITP): Suppliers must meet the Conditions of Participation in order to proceed to Stage 2 of the process. There is no limit to the numbers of Suppliers who can proceed to Stage 2. Any Supplier who fails to meet these conditions will be excluded from participating in the process and will not be invited to Stage 2. Stage 2 - Tender - Assessment of tenders against award criteria The Award Criteria provided is indicative at this stage. The Authority may refine award criteria as part of this Competitive Flexible procedure in accordance with Section 24 of the Procurement Act 2023. Further details will be provided in the Invitation to Tender before submission of final tender.
- No preliminary market engagement: Utilising a Government Commercial Agency Dynamic Market with multiple existing potential suppliers already onboard and the UK1 & UK3 Notices being published enable any additional onboarding to the Dynamic Market by further interested parties.
