The information provided will help DE&S to consider and shape a future market engagement strategy and service requirements. DE&S is looking to assess the market capability in relation to the provision of (please note this is not an exhaustive list and may change following the engagement event): 1. Contracting / Procurement (of Defence General Munitions) 2. Category Strategy Development & Management 3. Product & Supplier (re)Qualification & Approval 4. Supplier Management 5. Oversight / Management of parties with the DGM Supply Chain 6. Demand Planning, Forecasting and Order Capture 7. Purchase to Pay (P2P) and other enabling IT systems & processes 8. Governance and New Product Design/Introduction DE&S welcomes interest from individual suppliers, consortia, Joint Ventures and / or Special Purpose Vehicles. There is no requirement for interested parties to have experience of the Defence Sector. Contract value, including the in-scope Munitions to be provided via this arrangement, is in excess of £400m. Suppliers should note that any specified total contract values are the Authority’s best estimates. The value and contract term for this potential requirement will be informed by this Market Engagement activity. In issuing this PIN, DE&S is not committing to carry out any procurement in relation to the requirements stated in this PIN. Non-participation in the Industry Day will not preclude any organisation from participating in any future competition.
