    The Council would like to appoint a dedicated 3rd party to deal with post and courier services to achieve better value for money and allow for a more efficient and effective management of items. This will be as a minimum the following services: • Collection, sorting, and delivery of mail communication to addresses across the UK and international destinations. • Collection and delivery services for letters, large letters, pre-paid return mail, and parcels within the UK, Europe, Non – Europe destinations and Rest of the World destinations. • A range of delivery options. • A full track and trace solution for all mail items and parcels. • A robust process in place for dealing with mail items which have not been delivered successfully. • An on-demand courier service. • Necessary equipment and consumables needed to use the service at no additional cost to the client. • Security of all mail items collected from the client location during the collection and delivery process. • Staff performing security checks on all mail items comply with the statutory provisions of the Aviation Security (Air Cargo Agents) Regulations of 1993 & 1998.
