Coverage: 284 active published awards; 282 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Price reduction compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

What is being bought
Essex County Council have been pre-allocated £8,382,000 under the Local Electric Vehicle (LEVI) fund, which aims to increase the number of on-street low-powered charge points in residential areas, accelerating the commercialisation of EV Charging infrastructure across the county. As part of ensuring that we deliver the maximum value for money and design the best commercial arrangement for this funding, we would be grateful if Charge Point Operators (CPOs) could respond to our Market Engagement pack. The purpose of this is to discover which providers are able to deliver on this requirement and how suppliers would maximise the delivery of Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure with ECC’s allocated grant funding. We will then be holding follow up meetings with selected providers
