Coverage: 83 active published awards; 11 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Published-to-award variance compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

16 Sept 2026, 23:59 BST · scheduledBabcock Land Defence Limited, acting as Agent for the UK Ministry of Defence (MOD) under Project Phoenix, would like to invite suppliers to participate in Preliminary Market Engagement (PME) for our upcoming Quoted Rental Requirement. The requirement represents a significant opportunity for suppliers to provide flexible vehicle rental solutions in support of the MOD's White Fleet operations. The requirement is expected to cover a broad range of vehicle categories, including standard and specialist vehicles, with demand driven by short-term operational requirements, surge activity, and temporary fleet replacement needs. Suppliers will be invited to contribute market insight and propose solutions that deliver availability, responsiveness, value for money, and nationwide coverage. We would like to invite you to attend a Preliminary Market Engagement Session on Monday 14th September at 12:00 hrs. The purpose of the engagement is to provide an overview of the requirement, outline the proposed procurement strategy and rules of engagement, and discuss the key commercial and operational considerations associated with the service. The session will also provide suppliers with an opportunity to ask any questions they may have. Participation in this engagement exercise is intended to promote early market awareness and facilitate open dialogue with potential suppliers ahead of the formal procurement process. Prospective bidders will be required to complete a survey for which the deadline is the 16th September at 5pm GMT. To receive joining instructions and further details of the survey (Request for Information) and requirement, please contact Thomas.drysdale@babcockinternational.com at the earliest opportunity. The deadline to sign up for the Preliminary Market Engagement Session is Friday 11th September at 5pm GMT.
