Coverage: 3 active published awards; 0 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Published-to-award variance compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

What is being bought
University of Leeds was awarded a contract by the Department of Health to host the NIHR CRNCC in 2015 which included a contract for IT Services via a third party. Following a change by the The Department of Health and Social Care the University of Leeds was awarded the new NIHR RDN Co-ordinating Centre (RDNCC) from 1 April 2024.
As it was not possible to allow for an extension of the IT Services contract as part of the original Department of Health contract nor has it been possible to run a new tender for IT Services, we are extending the original contract with PA Consulting Services Ltd.
The IT Services provided are heavily entwined into the service provided by RDNCC and will require careful consideration as to the best option for renewing these services. The extension period will provide the appropriate time to finalise these considerations.
