Comparable-procurement analytics

Benchmarked against retained Find a Tender procedures with CPV division 70. The category anchor is Housing services (70333000); this is a deliberately broad market comparator. The comparison is shown at several levels rather than pretending one company or region is always the best benchmark.

“Reported bids” is an official aggregate, sometimes reported per lot; it is the closest available competition measure. “Named award suppliers” are winners, not all applicants.

Price-outcome signal

Not enough comparable procedures currently publish both a GBP tender value and a usable lowest-valid-bid value to calculate a responsible price-reduction benchmark. Tenderline deliberately does not infer a saving from named award suppliers or from missing award values.

The Council currently estimates there approx. 75 to 100 people who will need their own home with a low level of visiting support (approx. 5 to 10 hours per week) to support them to maintain their tenancy and their wellbeing in the next 2 years. Our goal is to support people to build their skills and confidence on their journey to independence through a strengths-based approach in the right accommodation. The purpose of the engagement is to explore innovative partnership solutions for the provision of low level 'Supported Accommodation' to people aged 16 years and over with Care Act (2014) eligible needs in Staffordshire. The Council wants to engage with the following potential suppliers: • Registered Social Landlords / Housing Associations and/or charitable organisations who can supply affordable accommodation • Adult Social Care Providers who are registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC), as a minimum, for the provision of Personal Care and Supported Living (service type) To request further background information and a link to the questionnaire, please email: Supportedliving@staffordshire.gov.uk quoting reference IA3839 specifying if you are a Housing or Care Provider. Once the engagement is finished, the Council will finalise its options appraisal and feedback to potential suppliers on the next steps.engagement27 Feb 2026scheduled
