    "description": "Leigh Academies Trust:\nLeigh Academies Trust (LAT) is one of the country’s largest and most-established multi-academy trusts operating across Kent, Medway and South East London. It contains primary, secondary and special academies and is highly inclusive and successful. Our mission is to deliver “education for a better world” by ensuring that young people in our academies have an excellent start in life regardless of their background or ability.\nFurther information regarding the Trust can be obtained here: https://leighacademiestrust.org.uk/\nTender information:\nThe successful tenderer will be required to provide excellent cleaning services at 31 (across 35 sites.) of the 33 Academies across LAT.\nThe contract term being tendered is for 3 years, from 01/08/2027 – 31/07/2030. There is an option for a further extension period for up to two additional years to 31/07/2032. \nLAT are tendering their cleaning services in 3 geographical ‘lots’ as per:\nLot 1: East Kent\n8 primary academy sites\n4 secondary academy sites\n2 SEN academy sites\nLot 2: North Kent/London\n4 primary academy sites\n7 secondary academy sites\nLot 3: Mid Kent\n4 primary academy sites\n4 secondary academy sites\n1 SEN academy sites\n1 nursery site\nFurther details of specific schools within each Lot are provided on page 6 of the PSQ document.\nYou are invited to express interest and complete a Procurement Specific Questionnaire for any combination of 1, 2 or all 3 Lots.  \nThe contract offers an excellent opportunity to review and propose enhancements to the current cleaning services at the academies. This includes both core term time cleaning and periodic deep cleaning throughout the year.\nLAT is keen to secure a high quality cleaning service whereby students at their academies are able to enjoy excellence in education, supported by excellently kept facilities. \nLAT expects high levels of productivity to be delivered by the cleaning staff at all times, plus a tightly managed service that is delivered via a management style that supports, encourages and develops the cleaning staff. \nThe academies are keen for a body of cleaning staff that feels ‘part of the academy’ where the contractor is tasked with developing this academy level relationship at both staff and management level. Each academy will work to a baseline specification. Bidding contractors will then be asked to cost a suite of ‘additional extra’ cleaning items which each school can then choose whether to add to their specification or ‘call off’ on and as needed basis. \nLAT is not obliged to accept the lowest price submitted for this tender, rather they are keen to secure best value from this contract and to deliver best value to its academies and students. Innovative and creative ideas as to how the cleaning services can be developed and improved, will be welcomed. LAT seeks a contractor that is keen to work in partnership and who will deliver to its highest abilities, at all times. \nCompetitive Flexible Procedure\nThis procurement will be run under the Competitive Flexible Procedure.
