What is being bought
Scottish Water is seeking to appoint strategic contractor partners for SR21 (2021-2027) and support capability development into and throughout SR27 (2027-2033) to support its planned, lower value, generally non-complex capital investment projects, including refurbishment and replacement requirements and our operational reactive repair requirements. The frameworks will be awarded for 2021-27, with extension options, at client discretion based on business requirements, up to 2033. The intention is to award contracts under this framework in 4 Lots: Lot 1 R&M for Infra Water & Waste Water, Lot 2 Capital Investment for Infra & Civils, Lot 3 R&M for M&E and Lot 4 Capital Investment for MEICA. Estimated value across the 4 lots for the initial 6 year period is in the range of 1 900 000 000 to 2 300 000 000 GBP and when including the potential 6 year extension period is in the range of 4 300 000 000 to 5 200 000 000 GBP (FY18/19 prices).
