Coverage: 17 active published awards; 11 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Price reduction compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

What is being bought
The NHM is looking to appoint design consultants to help us delivery our vision for a new, permanent gallery at South Kensington dedicated to building a positive connection to nature in our very youngest audiences. The 3D and 2D Exhibition Designer / Exhibition Lead Designer will be responsible for the development, design and specification of the exhibition. They will lead the creative team to deliver the brief. They will be required to determine the infrastructure requirements for the exhibition space and to coordinate with the Lead Architect for their integration. The 3D and 2D Exhibition Designer / Exhibition Lead Designer will be expected to coordinate all exhibition consultants to the delivery of the coordinated exhibition project, whether sub-contracted to them or appointed directly by the Museum.

Not published · metE-mails sent to a number of companies to explore market testing of budgets for exhibition and gallery design services with the marketplace, to understand more about how suppliers calculate fee level and particularly: - The rough fee percentage range for RIBA Stage 2 services onwards, based on construction costs, for 3D and 2D design disciplines (understanding that other services e.g. exhibition lighting, structural services, AV consultancy etc would be separate to this) - What suppliers expect the 'Construction costs' amount for this working to include e.g. interactives, showcases, setworks etc; if these are produced / have Contractor's Design by others
