What is being bought
Published requirement descriptionSellafield Ltd (SL) are undertaking major refurbishment of existing building assets and procuring significant items of plant to ensure that flask maintenance capability can be sustained on its site for the next 30 years. Two primary types of flask, cuboid and cylindrical, are used to provide safe containment for irradiated nuclear fuel and wastes during transportation. The Flask Maintenance Repurposing Project (FMRP) is delivering the maintenance capabilities required once flasks have been decontaminated. Under FMRP, SL is seeking services for the design, supply and installation of four significant items of plant which include: A. Flask paint removal facility B. Flask paint application facility C. Flask machining facility D. Flask automated guided vehicles (AGV)
