Published requirement descriptionDevon & Somerset Fire & Rescue Authority is seeking to contract for the delivery of its scope of Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) servicing and maintenance requirements. The requirements include planned preventative maintenance (PPM), 24/7 reactive maintenance and repairs, optional additional services, and contract management responsibilities including KPI reporting.
The opportunity is available in two Lots.
Lot 1 – ALL asset types and services
Lot 2 – Asset types and services are separated into three (3) sub-Lots
2A – Specialist Mechanical
2B – Mechanical & Electrical
2C – Specialist Electrical
Bidders may compete in any or all Lots / sub-Lots. Information on the assets within each of the sub-Lots can be found in the tender pack.

Publisher note: Lot 1 - Contract Year 1 - tendered planned preventative maintenance costs from the awarded contractor are £230,399. Further reactive maintenance and repair costs are subject to the volume of reactive callouts placed during the contract year with the Contractor. Therefore the initial total contract value over the 2 year initial fixed term, and optional 4 year extension period, remains at the indicative total contract value of £2,700,000 (ex VAT).
