Additional works, services or supplies have become necessary and were not included in the initial procurement and a change of supplier would not be practicable (for economic, technical or interoperability reasons) and would involve substantial inconvenience/duplication of costs. The change does not exceed 50% of the value of the original contract.
This modification is on the basis that there is a requirement to move the CHS system onto the ITAC secure hosting service to allow for remote access. This is a requirement which was not provided for within the original requirement however one which is central to ensuring continuity of service provision and secure hosting of the system at a cost of £14,445.
- Review procedure
The Public Contract Regulations 2015 provide for aggrieved parties who have been harmed or are at risk of harm by a breach of the rules to take action in the High Court (England, Wales and Northern Ireland). The Authority will incorporate a standstill period (i.e. a minimum of 10 calendar days) before this contract is awarded.
