    Derby Homes Limited is an Arm's Length Management Organisation (ALMO) created by the Council to manage, maintain, and improve Council properties and estates. The organisation is non-profit making, and it does not pay dividends to any shareholders; it is 100% owned and controlled by the Council.  Derby Homes Limited manages a portfolio of domestic housing stock currently standing at approximately 12,500 dwellings. The majority are owned by the Council; but there are Leasehold properties, properties owned by several different housing associations, and some properties directly or part owned by Derby Homes Limited itself.   Derby Homes ran a mini competition using EEM0053 Passive Fire Protection Framework - Lot 1 Midlands. (Contract Award Notice: 2022/S 000-033865). The works that form this Contract will be undertaken on an as and when required basis, depending on the urgency of the requirement and shall include, but are not limited to, the following services:  - Undertake full property fire safety surveys to provide a fire risk assessment report  - Undertake fire risk assessment repairs The contract has been awarded to Fieldway Compliance Limited who were the most economically advantageous bidder.
