What is being bought

Published requirement description

The Council has established a framework and has appointed 3 suppliers to provide a household and office removal service, including storage as required.

The UK4 Tender Notice and UK6 Contract Award Notice incorrectly stated that the commercial tool being established was an 'Open Framework'. For the avoidance of doubt, the commercial tool being established as a result of this contract is a FRAMEWORK and not an Open Framework.

  • The authority expects to re-tender this requirement around 2 Jul 2031, 00:59 BST.

How bids were scored
  • Simple description: The Council intends to award the Contract, wholly or in part, on the basis of most advantageous offer to the Council. Technical/Quality will account for 40.00% of the evaluation and will be based on the responses to the technical criteria outlined in the ITT. Net price will account for 60.00% of the evaluation.
What this means for your bid
  • “COV - Removals and Storage (2025)” is a framework: the contest is a place on its panel, up to 3 suppliers, not a single contract: call-offs may be direct or by further competition.

Please register via the Council's e-procurement system - CSW-JETS in-tendhost.co.uk/csw-jets ↗

CSW-JETS is a sub-regional e-tendering portal run by In-tend. Since February 2010, Coventry; Solihull; Warwickshire; Nuneaton and Bedworth; Rugby alongside other local district Councils have been working together as a shared procurement service. In conjunction with Solihull Community Housing, we have joined together to bring you a collaborative E-Tendering portal. CSW-JETS enables us to advertise our opportunities across all authorities through the same system. This means that there is a single point of contact for procurement in the sub-region so you only have to register once to receive notifications for all authorities. Registering on the portal will make it easier for local suppliers to find, respond to and be alerted to tender opportunities.

Registration is free, and takes just a few minutes. When complete, you will be able to express interest in any of the Councils’/Authorities’ opportunities when they are made available including this tender. In addition, we will be able to access your details whenever we have a requirement, and you may then be invited to tender or quote for work. Once you are registered and log in to the system you will be able to locate the tender opportunity, express interest and access the documentation.
