Published requirement descriptionThis is Notice of an Amendment to be made to the DPS in pursuance of the original Notice 2021/S 000-023354 published in FTS on the 20th Sept 2021 ( and subsequent Corrigendum Ref: 2024/S 000-027382). All other details relating to this DPS remain unchanged.
In accordance with the Procurement Act 2023 (Commencement No. 3 and Transitional and Saving Provisions) Regulations 2024, the Authority hereby gives notice of extending the current expiry date for this dynamic purchasing systems (DPS).
Despite the revocation of the 2015 Regulations by the Act, those Regulations continue to apply in respect of procurement procedures for this DPS up until the expiry date (or termination date if earlier).
Therefore, the 2015 Regulations continue to apply the period of validity of this DPS, under regulation 34 of those Regulations, expires (if it has not already terminated by the Authority) at the end of 23rd February 2029.
This DPS remains accessible by members of CHIC to all UK public-sector bodies (potential members).

The Retrofit Assessor will ensure all tools, including Intelligent Energy Systems (IESs ) work successfully together encompassing both building information and time-sequenced energy performance information. Undertake an assessment of completed Energy Performance Certificates (EPC), Display Energy Certificates (DEC) and / or property asset management data for individual or multiple properties as required, to identify a preferred set of refurbishment interventions.

The Retrofit Designer will provide an understanding of buildings energy efficiency to the Registered Social Landlords (RSLs) and input to research projects, testing new technological approaches in the provision of a range of consultancy services, guidance and advice in relation to retrofit design. The role involves site visits to carry out surveys, working closely with Clients to understand project needs and to provide designs and tender documentation for low and zero carbon intervention/new build under the the 2nd phase CHIC DPS Optimised Retrofit Installers.

The Retrofit Coordinator role is to provide specialist project leadership and management with responsibility for overseeing the assessment of dwellings as well as the subsequent specification, monitoring, and evaluation of energy efficiency measures to ensure that work (by installers procured during the 2nd phase CHIC Wales Optimised Retrofit Installers DPS) is carried out to the Clients standards, specification and schedule whilst managing technical risks, avoid the common retrofit failure points, increasing team productivity and maximising project budgets.
