CBC-1897-T-SM Construction Framework 2.0 RFI (Request for Information)

Central Bedfordshire Council is undertaking preliminary market engagement to inform the development of a new Construction Framework. The Authority is seeking feedback from contractors, suppliers and other interested parties on a range of proposed framework arrangements, including lot structure, call-off mechanisms, performance management, social value requirements, contractual approaches and procurement methodologies. Interested organisations are invited to review the Request for Information (RFI) documentation available through the Authority's e-tendering portal (https://in-tendhost.co.uk/centralbedfordshire/aspx/Home) and submit responses by 12 June 2026. The Authority encourages responses to be submitted by this date to ensure they can be fully considered as part of the market engagement exercise. Whilst the engagement will remain open after this date, responses received after 12 June 2026 may not be assessed or taken into account when finalising the procurement strategy and framework design. This market engagement exercise is being undertaken for information gathering purposes only and does not constitute a call for competition or invitation to tender. Responses received will be used solely to help inform the Authority's procurement strategy and framework design. Participation in this engagement exercise will not form part of any future supplier selection or evaluation process.
