Coverage: 247 active published awards; 8 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Published-to-award variance compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

What is being bought
This scheme supports Kent County Council’s (the Council) strategic priorities that are outlined within Framing Kent’s Future and Securing Kent’s Future 2022-2026. It will help support improving the infrastructure for communities and providing improved cycling and pedestrian facilities at the B2017/B2016 junction which is adjacent to Mascalls Academy. The scheme also supports the key priorities set out in the Councils Local Transport Plan 5 ‘Striking the Balance’ (LTP5) in terms of providing additional highway capacity, improving accessibility and reducing congestion.
The scheme includes the widening of Badsell Road, new junction signals with improved pedestrian facilities, widening of existing footways and provision of a new shared route on the south side of Badsell Road. New drainage basins and an attenuation tank will help to mitigate the existing flood risk.
